About the Event
Welcome to Gourd Mask Making!
This free class is an opportunity to bring to life a face just waiting to come out from a gourd. Join us to learn about design techniques while you create a unique mask to take home. Space is limited, so make sure to register!
Supplies willl be provieded, but feel free to bring embellishments from home.
Here are some ideas for what you can bring:
- Bottle caps
- Buttons
- Beads
- Old jewelry
- Feathers
- Yarns/cords/threads
- Twigs/small branches
- Shells
- Washers, nuts, and bolts
- Sequins/Rhinestones
- Tissue paper, wrapping paper
- Ribbon
- Corks
- Lace/trims
- Pebbles/Sand
- Dried or silk flowers/leaves
- Puzzle pieces
- Fabric
