2023 SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Read, earn prizes, and participate in special programs all summer long!
About the program
Challenge yourself to read all summer long! Join us June 1 - August 5 for this year's Summer Reading Program. The theme is All Together Now, and we will have reading logs, bonus activities, and special programs for all ages to enjoy.
Reading Logs
Participants set their own daily reading goal and log each day they reach that goal. Choose between a digital and paper reading log. Paper logs can be picked up at the library, or downloaded to print at home.

Once you sign up, you will get one book to keep along with the opportunity to earn more prizes:

Read for 15 days to earn a coupon pack

Read for 30 days to earn a second and third book

Read for 60 days to earn a fourth book
Log your reading online:
Click the button below to sign up on READsquared. Log in or create an account. Family members can be added from your primary account, or they can sign up separately. Once you are logged in, you will be able to enroll in the Summer Reading Program.
NOTE: If you are already signed up for a different program on READsquared, you will need to create a new or secondary account to join the Summer Reading Program. Please call 208-459-3242 if you need assistance.
Super Reader Log
Have you finished your first reading log and are ready for the next challenge? Stop by the library’s front desk and ask for a Super Reader log. Complete an additional 30 days of reading for an additional prize and bragging rights! Super Reader logs can be requested July 1 through July 12.
Bonus Activities
If you are looking for something more to do on top of reading this summer? Try out or Summer Reading Bingo! The Bingo card is filled with fun, family-friendly activities. Complete an entire row of activities to earn a button, or complete all activities to earn a 3D print!
Bingo sheets can be picked up at the library or downloaded to print at home.
Special Programs
Special programs will begin the week of June 5, 2023.
Join us every Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. and select Mondays at 6:00 p.m. for fun programs! Discover even more library programs on our events calendar.
Please note that programs held in our Community Room will have a capacity limit of 100 people. Participants will be admitted on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Wednesday, July 12 @ 11 am: Birds of Prey (Library’s Community Room with max occupancy of 100)
Wednesday, July 19 @ 11 am: SLIME! Make regular or magnetic slime.

Wednesday, July 26 @ 11: DIY Ice Cream And Slush (Serenity Park)
