Presented by the Owyhee County Extension
In this workshop, you will learn the varieties that grow well in this region, best time to plant, where to get certified seed, harvesting and curing. There will also be a presentation demonstrating different preservation techniques such as pickling, dehydrating and canning. Finally, there will also be an opportunity to sample french onion soup and dehydrated onions.
Library program is free and open to the public. Registration is appreciated, but not required.
