Lefties Unite! International Left-Handers Day

Hello friends! August 13th was International Left-Handers Day, and being a leftie myself, I wanted to share some fun facts about "South Paws" and introduce you to some of my favorite left-handed authors!

• Lefties make up about 10% of the overall world population, and there is a higher percentage of males being left-handed over females.

• Lefties are known to have some advantages when it comes to sports (left-handed pitchers) and tend to excel at creative thinking.

• Lefties are more prone to allergies, migraines and issues with their immune system.

• Lefties are known to be better at multitasking.

• We have had 7 Left-Handed US presidents: James A. Garfield, Harry S. Truman, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
