Hello friends! August 13th was International Left-Handers Day, and being a leftie myself, I wanted to share some fun facts about "South Paws" and introduce you to some of my favorite left-handed authors!
Quick Lefty Facts:
Lefties make up about 10% of the overall world population, and there is a higher percentage of males being left-handed over females.
Lefties are known to have some advantages when it comes to sports (left-handed pitchers) and tend to excel at creative thinking.
Lefties are more prone to allergies, migraines and issues with their immune system.
Lefties are known to be better at multitasking.
We have had 7 Left-Handed US presidents: James A. Garfield, Harry S. Truman, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
